Congratulations to Maycee Lyons and Griffin Fraley for winning the Bradley Roy High School Fishing Open at Herrington Lake! They are state champions in the Bass Nation High School Invitational and will be participating in nationals next summer. Griffin and Maycee competed against 121 boats from schools around the state. The tournament was held by Bass Nation which is one of two chances for anglers to be state champions--those sponsored by SAF/FLW and KHSAA. Bath County is so proud of Maycee and Griffin!
Shortly after the start of the school year, all Kentucky school districts must determine local school tax rates. Bath County Board of Education is considering proposed 2018 tax rates of 52.6 cents on real property and 52.6 cents on personal property.
As the Board of Education’s decision approaches, we want to ensure that the Bath County community has important information on school property tax rates and school funding needs.
Our picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 23rd beginning at 8:30 in the concession stand lobby.
