22-23 School Year Non-Resident Open Enrollment

The Bath County School District accepts enrollment of non-resident students from surrounding districts and counties. The enrollment of new non-resident students may not exceed the school building capacity. Capacity per grade may be further limited by the annual staffing of our school, to not exceed pupil: teacher ratios by grade level.  We cannot guarantee enrollment for any non-resident child without first ensuring we have facility space, grade level space, program space, and adequate faculty/staff to serve the needs of applicants.  While we will make every effort to enroll all children in the same household, we are bound by capacity limitations and cannot guarantee enrollment to siblings.  (Board policy will outline the guidelines for enrollment).

Bath County does not provide transportation outside of the district boundaries for non-resident students.  Once a decision is made regarding enrollment, families will be contacted if we have an opening.  Families will have 48 hours to respond to the enrollment offer.  If the offer is not accepted by the family, the next person on the application list will be contacted to take the opening.  This is a first-come, first-serve process by grade level.  The application below will be time-stamped when submitted to ensure everyone has a unique place in line.
