Greetings:

My name is Gaye Harmon and I am the Reading Interventionist/Reading Coach at Owingsville Elementary.  I have 29 years of experience in elementary education.  I have been working as a reading coach/interventionist for 17 years, assisting teachers in implementing the latest research based reading instructional strategies.  

During the 2019/2020 school year I will be working directly with Tier three students in reading.  I will be communicating to parents via monthly newsletters, parent conferences, and RTI Meetings!

I will be more than happy to meet with you and share reading strategies that will help your child become a more fluent reader!!  Research has shown that students are most successful when the parent is involved in their education.  Fifteen minutes of reading to or with your child each evening can enable them to improve their current reading level.
